Welcome to Kennewick’s stunning convention center with plenty of space for a memorable
Bob Woehler has been a Kiwanian for 16 years and is a member of the Kennewick Kiwanis Club. He is a past distinguished president of the Kennewick Club, past Lieutenant Governor of Division 54 and was named Kennewick Kiwanian of the Year in 2003. A retired journalist and naval officer, Bob lives in Kennewick, where he is a past Kennewick Man of the Year. Currently he is a wine columnist for the Tri-City Herald and Wine Press Northwest magazine.
Tom Moak is a 20-year Kiwanian and past distinguished President of the Kennewick Kiwanis Club. He was named Kennewick Kiwanian of the Year in 2007 and serves as Secretary of the Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation. During the day, Tom is a library manager for Mid-Columbia Libraries and by night is a councilmember for the City of Kennewick. He is a past President of the Association of Washington Cities and a past member of the Washington State House of Representatives.

The fun schedule for the PNW 2008 August 14-17 Kiwanis Convention in Kennewick, Washington. THURSDAY AUGUST 14 Golf Registration Update: Due to the lateness most members received registration materials, the added fee for registering late for the August 14 Golf Tournament has been waived. All those who have paid the late fee will have $15 reimbursed sent by slow mail. Use attached revised golf registration form in registration packet. Thanks. FRIDAY AUGUST 15 For self-guided wine touring go to www.winepressnw.com/travel/ Friday's Family Kickoff luncheon featuring Dr. Lewis Zirkle of Richland, a modern day Albert Schweitzer, who will talk about his PNW Kiwanis supported SIGN (Surgical Implant Generation Network) "Healing Broken Bones to Save Broken Families."
Prior to the Kick-off luncheon, listen to the calypso sounds of Bram Brata, part of the Tri-Cities Steel Drum Association. These kids are our future!) There will be two free tours of the SIGN headquarters in Richland during the convention on August 15-16, Friday and Saturday, afternoons, transportation furnished by Ben Franklin Transit. The first tour is at 2 p.m. Friday. The second is 2:30 p.m. Saturday. They will be two hour tours. The SIGN bus will pick up Kiwanians at the convention center and includes a tour guide.
