Winery Tours -

Join your fellow Kiwanians for an exciting peek at the sights, smells and tastes of Washington's wine country.
Two tours, each with stops at three handpicked wineries. A comfortable 45 passenger bus complete with wine savvy guide will whisk you away from the Convention Center for a three hour tour. Over 20 gold medal and award winning wines to sample each tour. The price is $20 a person for each tour that includes a $2 tasting fee at each winery.
It’s first come first served for the 45 passenger buses so register for your tour here.

Several of the tasting rooms have various gourmet and wine motif items. Go together and buy a mixed and matched case for a case discount.

FRIDAY -- The tour bus leaves the convention center at 1 p.m. and returns at 4 p.m.

First stop BARNARD GRIFFIN, named by Wine Press Northwest magazine as Winery of the Year.
Then stroll next door to the garden patio setting of BOOKWATER WINERY, one of the oldest in the Pacific Northwest.
Finally stop at GOOSE RIDGE where the cozy tasting room provides a vista of 1000 acres of wine grapes at one of the largest vineyards in the Pacific Northwest.

SATURDAY --
Leave the convention center at 2 p.m. and will have you back at 5 p.m. in time to freshen up and dress up for the Governor’s Ball later that evening.

Visit HEDGES on Red Mountain in its impressive French Chateau winery and grounds.

Then get on the bus for a short ride to KIONA VINEYARDS’ brand new modern style tasting room that features a command view of the vineyards on Red Mountain
The last stop is at TERRA BLANCA, a MUST see and MUST taste. One of the most impressive wineries in the Pacific Northwest with Italian Classic style architecture including covered verandas that offer sweeping views of the well manicured grounds and lake as well as the nearby Yakima Valley. You can even see Mt Adams on a clear day.
